Troop 119 Information

About our Troop

Troop 119 is part of Lighthouse District in the South Florida Council.  We are located in the wonderful town of Deerfield Beach, which is located just north of Fort Lauderdale and south of Boca Raton in Broward County.  Our Charter is New Horizons Church.

Hillsboro Lighthouse

Troop 119 believes that the troop should be led by the scouts, with help from the adults.  Our Senior Patrol Leader plans out the entire year with the help of the Patrol Leaders' Council.  We try to have at least one campout a month, whether it is a troop event, district event, or council event.  Some of our campouts include kayaking, hiking, beaches, Deerfield Island, and camporees.  These factors make Troop 119 both a very active and very successful troop.

If you would like to become a part of our troop, you can contact us
